Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of CaloHub, operated by PulseKaki (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use CaloHub.

You must be at least 13 years old to use CaloHub. If the law where you live sets a higher minimum age for consenting to the processing of your personal data, that higher age applies to you. If you are under 18, you should use CaloHub with the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate. We terminate accounts we find to belong to children under 13 — see our Child Safety Standards.

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

When using CaloHub, you agree not to:

• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Attempt to access, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the service or its security.
• Use the app for any commercial purpose without our written permission.
• Harass, bully, or abuse other members, including within groups and chat.
• Post content that is unlawful, harmful, misleading, or that promotes disordered eating.
• Sexualize, exploit, or endanger a minor in any way. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation — see our Child Safety Standards.

Groups, leaderboards, and challenges are meant to be supportive and motivating. Group admins may set additional rules and manage membership. We may remove content or members that harm the community, and we encourage you to report concerns to us.

CaloHub offers free features and optional paid plans. Paid subscriptions are billed through the applicable app store and renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your app-store account settings. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

You retain ownership of the content you create, such as logs, photos, and messages. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content as needed to operate and improve the service — for example, to recognize food from a photo or show your activity to your group. You are responsible for the content you share.

CaloHub, its logo, software, and design are owned by PulseKaki and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our branding without prior written consent.

CaloHub provides nutrition guidance for general wellness and is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Calorie and macro estimates (including AI food recognition) are approximate. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making significant dietary changes, particularly if you have a medical condition or history of disordered eating.

The app may rely on third-party services such as app stores and cloud providers. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

CaloHub is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely accurate.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PulseKaki will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of — or inability to use — CaloHub.

You may stop using CaloHub and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if necessary to protect the service or other users.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are material, we will update the “Last updated” date above and notify you where appropriate. Continued use of CaloHub after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at PulseKaki's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless local consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
