Child Safety Standards

PulseKaki operates CaloHub with zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and for child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Children must never be sexualized, solicited, or endangered through our service.

These standards are published so that anyone — users, parents, researchers, regulators, and app-store reviewers — can see exactly what we prohibit, how we work to prevent it, how to report it, and what we do when we find it. They apply to every part of CaloHub, including profiles, display names, group chat, photos submitted for food recognition, challenges, and any content shared through invite links.

The following are strictly prohibited on CaloHub and result in immediate removal and account termination:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — any content that depicts, describes, or promotes the sexual abuse or exploitation of a minor.
• Sexualization of minors — sexual, suggestive, or exploitative depictions or descriptions of anyone under 18, including content that is drawn, animated, edited, or generated by AI.
• Grooming — building trust with a minor, or with someone presenting as a minor, in order to facilitate sexual contact or exploitation on or off CaloHub.
• Sextortion — threatening to share intimate imagery of a minor to coerce money, further imagery, or any other act.
• Trafficking and solicitation — advertising, requesting, or facilitating access to a minor for sexual purposes.
• Off-platform facilitation — using CaloHub to link to, promote, or direct people toward CSAE material, communities, or services anywhere else.
• Normalizing or trivializing CSAE — including “joking” content, and attempts to evade these rules through coded language or symbols.

These rules apply equally to real, edited, fictional, and AI-generated content, and to public content, group content, and private messages alike.

CaloHub is intended for people aged 13 and over. Accounts for children under 13 are not permitted, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. Where the law in your country sets a higher minimum age for consent to data processing, that higher age applies to you.

If we learn that an account belongs to a child under 13, we terminate the account and delete its data. If you are under 18, we ask that you use CaloHub with the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian. See our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy for the full detail.

If you see anything that puts a child at risk, report it immediately. You do not need to be certain — we would far rather review a report that turns out to be nothing.

Where you can, include the display name or group, what you saw, and when — screenshots help. Please do not download, save, or forward suspected CSAM: report it and let us and the authorities handle the material.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.

We comply with the child-safety laws that apply in the markets where CaloHub is available, and with the child-safety requirements of the platforms that distribute it.
